July the 1st Updates!
It's a brand new month with brand new changes added to the server! Significant changes include MVPs not being so cheap at the lower levels with NPC Powerup and agiup. Another is less spammage of mob skills, so now that poring won't rain down meteor storms of hell so fast anymore. I am especially psyched just to even be able to hear Wand of Hermode somewhat more frequently now on my dancer.
- The monster invaded castle is now automatically "unowned" at the beginning of each WoE, and when a guild conquers them, the emperium won't respawn, meaning the castle is theirs until the next WoE.
- The monsters in these invaded castles no longer respawn, and their level is set to 100 + [Castle Defense]/2.
- Improved Wand of Hermod: Usable in all maps and away from warps, this skill does not dispels status changes, but characters in its field of effect become immune to status changes, are unable to cast support skills, and are immune to AoE magic.
- Mob skill usage rate is now modified by their level and number of players in the current map. The formula is (15+75*[Mob LV]/150+10*[Player Count])%, capped to 100% if there are many players. This is further boosted by SP values, between 50% and 150% of the nominal value. Note that the previous implementation was simply to use 200% rates if the mob had over 50% SP, and 100% otherwise.
- NPC_POWERUP/NPC_AGIUP (MVP power up skills) now increase stats by a percent rather than a fixed amount. This means that low level MVPs will get +30% to their stats, instead of +60 to all stats (the latter being a much more significant boost for lower level mvps).
- NPC_POWERUP/NPC_AGIUP used level is no longer affected by mob's skill level. Meaning that L150 MVPs won't immediately use level 20 of the skill, but they will use level 2 when at 75% life, level 4 when at 50% and level 6 when at 25%, as it was originally intended.
- Adjusted a bit the success summon rate of some MVPs from bloody branches (and Treasure Guardians by extension). Reduced a bit the rate of MVPs like Valkyrie and Ifrit, and increased the rate of the LHZ3 MVPs.
