So, after reading the server overview you may be wondering if the server is as good as advertised. Does it try too hard and fail? Does it make promises but not deliver? Is it a dream too good to be true? Well, other than playing it yourself to find out, you might want to read what other players had to say about it.

All these reviews are stored at Rate My Server, where you can log in too and leave a review if you desire. Note that the opinions expressed in the reviews not just belong to the reviewer alone, but they are also dependent on the state of the server at the moment of the review. So, for example, some of the issues or complaints about a particular detail may no longer hold true now.

You can read the short reviews at RMS. Everyone is also encouraged to leave one once you've tried the server.

In-Depth Reviews

  • PoV from a new player (by Ayu, July 2010): An extensive overview for a first timer. All in all, it seems to set a positive trend compared to past first-impressions of the server.
  • A server for everyone! (by Nightlinks, Oct 2009): A bit of an energetic and positive review from a new player that really liked what the server had to offer. Offers a good rundown of the main server features to look for.
  • Another Review (by Rikugo, May 2009): The experience of a new player, and how previous knowledge about RO can be counter-productive (we added Training Grounds to fix that).
  • A Casual Experience? (by MarioSoldier, April 2009): A positive tale of a player who got hooked to the server and its community.
  • An Epic Tale of a Confused Player (by You, October 2008): The tale of a confused player who couldn't really get the whole concept of MouRO (though his review sparked many changes later on to attempt to make things easier for new players).
  • My indepth MouRO review (by CommodoreWillboy, August 2008): Started as a pretty objective, simple review for the server, and it turned into a long suggestion thread instead.
  • Awesome... (by Dew, July 2008): A pretty extensive review by someone who has been hanging around the server for quite some time.
  • Really something different? (by The D4edalus, March 2008): A pretty short review that feels like an advertising for an upcoming film. Turns into a thread discussing the surprises one gets as a new player the first time around.
